I write this letter to you my love
while the bombs are exploding above
I don't know when I might see you again
while missing you is my greatest pain
I write this letter to you my sweetheart
telling you that I might not depart
depart from this hells' everlasting battle
sitting here alone without you, starting to rattle
I write this letter to you my beauty
above and beyond the call of duty
Im afraid this will be my last words to you
Im going to miss your eyes, your eyes so blue
I write this letter to you my little child
I will never forget when you have smiled
I will never forget when I said goodbye
You turned away and began to cry
I finish this letter by saying to you my wife
That I might not see you again in this life
I promise that I will always wait for you love
And I will forever and always look over you from above
I Promise You My Soldiers' Love!
