Certain poem's weight
may become anorexic.
in the confusion. :)

The numbers now have become so irrelevant that i don't even take any notice of them anymore. Probably some vindictive so-and-so fooling around, trying to gain attention. *Sigh* Idiots are boring as hell.

Idiots abound...one in particular. A very
clever way of pointing it out though. I
myself am disgusted that there are
those who seek to hurt, rather than to
lift those in this community.

Be well, and know that you haven't
diminished at all in my eyes.

I guess I will be taunted and possibly ridiculed but I am going to play the devil's advocate here.

This has been a very controversial subject here at YPDC as long as I have been here. (A little over four and half years).

While I think it is horribly despicable and down right mean just to give a person a low score merely because you don't like them, especially when they could be writing about the most horrible pain in their life, not every poem deserves a five. I am not sure if this is what this is all about but I guess I just don't understand how every poem can be the absolute best.

I know myself, I do not deserve to get consistent fives and will not divvy out fives consistently. There are those that seem to submit poetry almost as if they are a spam agent with no regard for the English language; no regard for grammar and no pride in their work. Plus they will almost tell you to comment without ever even leaving a comment or feedback themselves....or very very little of it.

But if this was simply meant to point out that there is, I know this to be true, an imbecile that simply passes out ones just to be vindictive, then kudos. But I honestly believe, at least spelling, grammar, proper use of words, and punctuation can and should be weighed.

You know I love your poetry and I say keep it up. Speak your mind. I just wanted to add my four cents on this never ending topic.

Take care,

Tim
