his blood run through my veins
he married the woman that brought me into life
they say I look like him
lately I call him on his name
not dad,not father
even if that is what he is
my father........
the one who betrayed my mother
the women who would give her heart for me
he treats her like child
when she is more women then I will ever be
he looks like a demon
when I look in his eyes
the world has swallowed him
my daddy has long gone died
he entertains prostitutes in my mothers bed
while she is working
he tells her they are lying when people confront him
out of fear she would believe him
he sleeps with a gun under his pillow after all
the demon in him is always lurking
he is always angry
always short tempered
I need my father
the one I use to respect
the one that thought me discipline
I do not know this man
and I would kill him for killing my mothers spirit
yet he is calling out for help somewhere deep inside
even though he sleeps next to an angel every night. Well, I can relate to not getting along with your father but my reasons differ, if your father has demons he may need help but he won't take it most likely people have to conquer their own demons, for some however it takes a lifetime
I feel your pain and I hope all turns out well for you
great poem
hope to read more soon
