all my life i've tried to do

but life never took me there.

no one really cares for me,
all they do is take.

but i guess i shouldn't be surprised
remembering my past;

how hard do i have to try
until life takes a turn?
will good luck every come,
or will i always crash and burn?

all my life i've tried to do
whatever's right and fair
in hope i'd end up happy,
but life never took me there.

no one really cares for me,
all they do is take.
no one sees the strain i'm in,
or when i'm about to break.

but i guess i shouldn't be surprised
remembering my past;

you obviously just haven't met the right person to be in your life with you yet, when the moment is right that person will walk right in when you least expect it... good guys win in the end
