You deserve someone who'll love you
more than I ever could,
I'm sorry this can't turn out
the way we planned it would.
This is for the best
you know I love you so,
It hurts but I love you enough
to let you go.
I need you to know
you couldn't have loved me better.
And I know you won't look now
but someday I hope you'll find her.
She'll need you by her side
when life gets hard to handle.
Even though I'm left alone
I have strength enough to light this candle.
I can't believe it's over
you're really leaving without a fight.
I don't want to hear goodbye
but either way you'll be alright.
