[bodytext] => Winters get colder and colder every year, and i can barely afford heat. Money grows tighter and tighter every year, and there's nothing in my cupboards to eat. Unemployment lines grow longer and longer every year, this year i join them and admit defeat. "things aren't getting better anytime soon" all the headlines scream, as we watch the american dream grow farther and farther away from the time people came from all directions to snatch it up like candy. We are quickly gaining fame around the world as a fading glory. As story after newspaper story speaks of oil prices, the mortgage crisis, joblessness, hopelessness, the war in iraq, they fear there's no going back from the course we've laid on these one way tracks. But there is still beauty in our facade as we dutifully attend to the business of being the world's last great super power. The hours of hard work spent perfecting the artistry and grace of each movement can never camoflage the horror on everyone's face when they see that every power play, every bent rule, was just a swan dive into an empty pool.
