spreading brutality like an infectious disease,
causing kindness to fade and cease.

A young merchant boards a sky ship,
with intent of waking up to a sunny day,
for his heart grows weary of this endless fray.

A blessed decision for he sees beauty's true face,
a true angel materialized,
containing the blueprints to eternal beauty consealed within her eyes.

It began with vague lust from a stolen glare,
yet a beautiful person lies beneath such a wonderous canvas,
such beauty is invisible to a primary stare.

She too boards the sky ship,
for it's an escape,
to a paradise where nights are filled with stars,
a paradise where trees aren't rare to this earthly mars.

Her stare like medusa turns his heart to stone,
his love now rests dormant in stone,
awaiting a kiss to penetrate this invulnerable stone.

Cursed with the fears shyness brings,
for a task to gain such an angel's affection is accessable only to kings.

The ship soon sails off into the dark sky,
sailing through paths where eagles soar,
a path where love can be free and safe from war.

The stars like tiny sparkles illuminate the night,
as the ship drifts into the clouds and out of enemies sight.

He gazes at her wondering...
how he may dazzle her?
for she's impervious to worldly riches and other female desires.

So like a mask he conseal his feelings,
drenching them within a sea of shyness,
fueled by the currents of pure bliss,
the sweet tides come crashing down leaving him breathless.

In the presence of a starry night,
a shooting star dances across the sky,
his mind lingers making a trivial wish.

He wishes her feelings about him may materialize,
an every word she whispers may not be in code,
so he may advance close and his shyness may erode.

The ship soon lands on Miami's shores,
this is her stop where paradise is given,
but his heart fails to grasp ideas of her leaving.

He requests her to remain with him,
tho his love is but a stanger to her heart,
yet she feels it's real and sincere.

She feels the same,
yet she abandons her feelings in vain
robbing her heart of gaining a feeling so warm,
and she pushes him away with such a cruel scorn.

She kisses him...
introducing him to the sweetest joy,
a memory his heart will forever employ.

The ship soon takes off into the sunrise,
he looks back till Miami is invisble,
for he promises her one day he will return,
and the flames of their love may unite and eternally burn.
