Instead of going early to bed,
What shall I wear?
How should I do my hair?
It's been so long since I've been out,
the scene I don't know much about,
Not up on all the styles,
lip sticks on,greeted by a smile,
will these shoes go with this dress,
"man I look a mess"
just a few hours to go,
nothing to where if you may know,
a long time since I bought close,
"Oh know a run in my hose"
Maybe I'll put on a pair of jeans,
Its not like when I was a teen,
Hubbys dressed & looks out of sight,
when I still look like a fright,
Theres still curlers in my hair,
trying to find sox with a matching pair,
call the babysitter tell her to be here at nine,
As my Hubby tells me "You look fine",
I smile to say, this old thing,I threw on,
Thanks so much it did'nt take long!
