[bodytext] => I ascend the spiral stair case and spot a trunk of childhood toys; I look through each object and feel an empty void. I used to see magic everywhere I went; now life is all about work and paying the rent. I was a little girl living in a land of make-believe; now the the magical realm in my mind grieves. I used to have an imaginary friend; the magical fun would never end. I used to dream the most fantastical dreams; now bland reality makes me want to scream. I wish my Fairy God Mother with cast a spell on me; I guess grow up brings forth make-believe's mortality. Make-believe might have a short life span; but I still can occasionally visit its land.
