WHEN MY EYES FELL UPON AN ARROW ON THE GROUND
MY SPINE A GAVE A SHIVER
AS LOOKED FOR AN ARCHER AND QUIVER
BUT NONE COULD BE FOUND
AS I LOOKED AROUND
THEN INSPIRATION STRUCK
OH WHAT LUCK
FOR IT COULD ONLY BE CUPIDS ARROW I FOUND
BUT, HOW COULD THAT BE?
WAS IT MEANT FOR ME?
DID CUPID TAKE AIM
AND THE WIND PLAYED ITS GAME
INSTEAD OF LOVE FOUND
THE ARROW PIERCED THE GROUND
OH WHAT SADNESS, OH SORROWFUL BLISS
THAT I HAVE BEEN DENIED TRUE LOVES UNWAVERING KISS
BUT I WILL FINISH WHAT CUPID HAS STARTED
AND FIND LOVE DEPARTED
WITH THIS ARROW IN MY HEART I WILL THRUST
BUT COMING COMING FROM CUPIDS BOW A MUST
THE ARROW SLIPS FROM MY HAND
LIKE A PIECE OF SAND
THE ARROW VANISHES WITH A HISS
A SOUND THAT REMINDS ME OF A TRUE LOVES KISS

Interesting and it shows that nothing can interfere with the destiny of true love. Nicely written
