But there is just so much in between.
The way I feel shouldn’t be hid.
But I have to hide it because I’m just a kid.
The young can’t have the feelings that lovers do.
They’re just too “little” to know if it’s true.
People don’t understand what I think, what I know.
They can’t realize that someone that’s considered so young can have a heart of love that constantly grows…
…Grows for the few that mean the most to them in life.
Without them I would be lost, but I can’t think of one as a wife.
I’m not allowed; once again I’m just too young to think like that.
True friends are there to give you that comfort on your back, just that little pat.
My friends are the only reason I’m still here today.
They may not think so but all I can do is hope and pray…
…That they stay in my life forever so that I won’t get lost.
I would do anything for them, anything at all no matter what the cost.
My life means nothing to me when the truth can be seen.
…The truth that my love is there for them no matter what’s in between.
One day I’ll be able to give my love to someone, when I’m “older”
All I want is that feeling of my love’s shoulders.
Both of us sitting down with her in my arms, and that wonderful smell of her hair.
Staring off into the distance not knowing what is out there.
But up above are all the stars in the sky.
We try to count them but one or two flicker and then shoot by.
I don’t know what her wish is but mine is to stay in that moment for as long as I can.
All I want is to be with her hand in hand.
She’s that girl you can’t explain but you try to anyway.
The one your friends hear about every single day.
She's the reason why you break the rules and chose to stay.
Why you laugh, cry, and why wouldn't have it any other way.
Other people see you and want what you have with your girl.
She's my everything... My world.
I may be too young but just maybe I might.
Might actually know what love feels like.
A lot of kids are immature, but I believe there are quite a few.
A few that can truly say "I love you."
But hey what do I know? I'm just a kid right? Everything I say about love is just a lie?
It has to be, right? Because I can't know what it is, so why should I even try? Nice but... honestly, the lines are too long! You need to cut back a little if you want people to read it =). You also use a few too many words to get the idea across. It makes it seem less refined, and diluted.

In my opinion, it needs further refinement.
