Trapped within a haunted house of my own making
Light switches broken
Doors bolted shut
Surrounded in darkness
Desperate for an escape
Presence of a frightening creation
Chained to this distorted reality
Force feeding the subconscious mind
Fighting against my beliefs
A losing battle on all fronts
No light
No escape
A living nightmare
I cannot leave by myself
Just waiting till someone
Realizes where I am
And finds me

Sound to me like life
Reality is never in truth clear in life always distorted
No one ever wins against life
no light to show where they are no escaping it only choice is
to go with the flow of it ignore the creatures that scare you
In life no one will be looking for you sorry you just have to do just about everything on your own unless you find someone in the darkness
Great poem I liked it
Hope to read more soon
