no matter how you look at it
i just wanna be near you
i just wanna be closer to you
yet the curse of my ways
makes it more difficult to reach you
who would have thought
that i would be stopping here n now
waiting for you so patiencely
when i could be doing other things
like my job as wife, provider, and mom
but yet i still can't get you close to me
so i can show you how much you mean to me
but my curse will break one day
and when it does
youll be the first person
i come running to
