[bodytext] => Regrettably to my dismay The little girl when out to play Walking eagerly down the street Without any shoes on her feet Skipping a laughing as she went along Singing out loud a happy song At the corner is were she stopped When out of no where she just dropped I watched her from my porch swing The whole way listening to her sing When she fell I jumped up Dropping on the ground my coffee cup Running down the road to help her stand I reach down to grab her hand Noticing as she doesn't move Something in her foot I had to remove Grabbing and putting her on my shoulder The feel of her skin getting colder To the hospital we rushed that day Were on my knees I began to pray For In her foot was a drug Dropped on the ground by some thug A needle full of crack cocaine Quickly put us all in pain In the bed she lays and rests The Waiting room now filled with guests Out walks the doctor after a while As I sit on my knees staring at the tile He says nothing I can do will make this OK Now would be the time to begin to pray Screaming out the big question WHY I ask the lord why she had to DIE After that day there has been no cheers Just Saddened days full of tears..
