Could you open your eyes, see what's in front of you
Could you let me inside, maybe try something new
Because you are the one, in my dreams, every night
When I close my eyes, you're the one in the light
Could you be there in the dark; could you be my sun
Because I need to know...
Could you be the one...?
I know I'm not the prettiest girl around
And better than me can be found
But you say I'm beautiful, you say it's true
And I don't want anyone else; ask me if I could be the one too!
Because you are that one, in every wish I make
When I close my eyes, dream of you, but then I wake
Thinking could you be the one in my room; but there's none
I miss you so much, and I need to know
Could you be the one
Cause I don't want to run
Into a stranger's arms...
Could you be the one?
