Cascading to fragrant and warm shoulders
She doesn’t look my way but somewhere else
Searching for something she already has

Her step is gainful, as a once-dancer seems
A frame graced with motherhood brimmed with life
She walks from me not to me to somewhere else
A place that she has been to before

Girlish thoughts in a woman’s mind
Remind her of something that was
Was it love of one, or all she has had
A secret that she shares only with herself

Turn your way towards me and see
Your eyes beholden our true what was
Years steal but do not lie, I know that you see
What you search for never left your side

Come take my hand as you did once before
You will feel again what I cannot help but feel
We’ll walk together and find a new way
And never look back from where we had come

There's nothing wrong with this. Your have put the feelings down awesomely.
It's sad but great work.
Hang tuff, my friend as joy cometh in the morning.
You're always in my prayers.
Please stay safe and keep writing.
Big huggs, blessings, knowledge, wisdom, peace, joy,
emy

a very nice piece of work. it almost had an old-fashioned quality to it. i could sense your angst, as well as your admiration for the women in question. a splendid write that was a cauldron of frothing emotions.

It is subtle and beautiful. Graceful and exquisite. Remarkable.

It is like seeing a woman thru another's eyes.

Well done...

Well, maybe she'll realize what she had in time. You have written an excellent poem about heartache!!!

I hope everything gets better for you.

Tim
