The proverbs and parables wander lost in the injustice of humankind, and we all walk shoulders tall and full of shame into the future of our sons and daughters, where even the angels turn away, and their hushed bemoaning stirs the stars to shine.

The heart is strong, the body frail, yet we spill our blood and breath and spirit to break upon the galleys, and our words fall weary and come too late to the eyes of those willing to read, and they too twist the tongue to take from truth and love, hate and sufferance.

Be strong, child, for our tears must settle upon the dusks of sadness, and reach across the spears of hate, and eat the bitter and rotten fruit of sorrow stirring in the shadows of our own souls.

I love it. I think it is full of raw emotion. This is one of the best I have read here. Beautiful and so full of sadness.
