Life gets right down funky mean.
Kaos reaks wherever we go.
Hang on tight while souls get clean.

Why me? Aaaaah, lawd, why me?
He stole my innocence, See?
Will my heart ever be free?
repeat

Now God stood by in case of fall.
The broken mirror stared at me.
A gillion peices, scatter here, there.
God said,"there's healin here, see?

What a scrambled mess, scary
As peices dissappear each day.
Healin comes as sin is burried
In God's sea by way of cross, Hey!

Pain brought healin-n-grace.
Patience in luv comes clean.
God never leaves me alone,
Always treats me like a Queen.

In Jesus name, Amen

did you ever hear of the man w/ two suitcases? they were weighing him down. one suitcase was the past, one was called future. he couldnt carry them any longer, too heavy, so he let go of the future one... he walked better but was still downtrodden, so he set down the past suitcase and was then able to live in the present walking straight..... im sorry you went through this, your song was very touching and moving,

love n' hugs nessa

Writes like these, spawned by an associative memory inspired by a movie or a read, are some of the best. Guess it makes us wonder why some would victimize others. Anywho, I really liked this one and admire you could share this with us and that it seems you are a survivor with strength.

Take care,

Tim
