Alone in the darkness In bed lay a boy Waiting for saint nick To bring Christmas joy
Unable to sleep He got out of bed And tiptoed down stairs To wait there instead
Up on the rooftop He heard a loud sound Its santa he thought I musnt be found
Behind the sofa he hid And peeked out in awe But what came down the chiminey wasnt santa at all
He was tall and thin And robed in all black And carried a sward Not a toy filled sack
He called to the boy Come child come here The boy did as told His heart filled with fear
The creature reached out His hand not but bone Took hold of the boy And spoke in a moan
The dark lords had enough Of this holiday cheer Sent me to end it And it ends right here
By morning the world Will bow unto him It all starts with you Your family then
He raised high his sward A dark death to send And it came slashing down To a black Christmas end

Loved it! The poem came easy and fast. The words flowed simple and true.... was the man in black you!
But you just destroyed Christmas, so forgiveness may never come LOL |
