Array ( [sid] => 14688 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Toxic Love [time] => 2003-03-21 19:05:00 [hometext] => ** "Beneath the cool and trusting smile, beats the heart of a demon in disguise..." This poem is compiled of my thoughts concerning the "wolf-in-sheep's-clothing" deception that boy's are capable of... And don't think you girls are without fault here! So this could apply to those of you as well... ** [bodytext] => You’re poison to my soul
The deadly sting of a snake
There is no escape
From your toxic love

The sweet smile
Covers the inner evil
And anger within you
Your love is full of hatred and betrayal

Beware their charming gaze
Those baby blues burn with fire
Hidden in his sleek blonde hair
Are the horns of a demon

Once you take that first step
You are lost
You’re just begging for heartbreak
Don’t say I didn’t tell you so

Once their done
They’ll toss you aside
Like the toy you’d chosen to be
Just hope they’ll leave a shred of your heart left

Beware the toxic love

This is prophetic,

" Once you take that first step
You are lost "

Yes Yes.. we all love getting lost.. and we never know what we'll find.. but we keep on.. hoping for the best.. or making the best.

Excellent work.. i loved it.

True, true, true, and you are so right. They are demons camoflaughed in man's form! I tried to live with one, and nearly ended up being killed by him.
This poem is so true. Listen up everyone...they exist, maybe they have different titles, but they are all the same behind closed doors. They can be very very dangerous.
I loved your words, and the way you put them together.
Wonderful poem!
