Somewhere within my soul, a poltergeist does waltz;
Haunting me with a precision of dripping poetic clarity,
awaking unconscious memory like fragrant smelling salts.
embracing the senses to existence with a reverse potency.
Some call her my muse, this dainty and enamoring creature.
Upon her daily imaginings I paint her portraits' sweet features.
She finds captivation within the blood which flows from my faults
and sucks the marrow from the bone of my candid, clever defaults.
Turning blood to ink, within the rhythm of her lovely pensive waltz.
Within my soul the hum-drum (through her enchantment) ever halts.

So true, though I suppose it's in our nature to not be as simple as we are brought to be. I'm not quite sure what to take from this poem, it's very deep... can have several different meanings. Interesting how it appears when centered on the page. Anyways, good write =).

sucks the marrow from the bone of my candid, clever defaults yeeesh..... sucking marrow from bones admist all this beauty, love, imagery, and excellent metaphors. Quite, the..uh, yeesh (I think yeesh is a word...slang or something). Your writing has a vague familiarity about it. Did you write under another name here?

Well, anyways, I really like this "dedication".

Take care and look forward to more.

Tim
