like it was yesterday
will you help me embrace the light
when god takes me away
since the day you left this earth
ive cried every day
hoping god will pull my card
and ill be on my way
remembering your precious glow
shining off you face
to see you shine at the pearly gates
id give up everything
i will always love you baby
your still my destiny
ill dread this feeling everyday
till no more breathes in me
god put me in a dream
i cant believe its true
i can hear your voice
so clear
baby is that you
im reaching out to feel your warmth
but nothings coming too
a gentle voice embraces my ear
ill always remember you
