Your eyes fall short of breath-taking
Your eyes they tell all
The smile upon your lips
Makes my heart get very small
You aren't average
You leak pain
When I see a crowd
All I can think about is your name
You catch my by surprise
And I cry inside
When you tell me of your secrets
I want to die and hide
WIthout your touch I feel empty
Without your smile I feel weak
Without your breath I am alone
I feel so "tongue in cheek"
At school I am forgotten
A long lost memory
A girl who has lost so much
A girl whose seventeen

I think I can just about remember 17 but what I do remember was that it was always a time of doubt and anguish.
Come to think of it, it hasn't got a huge amount better now im older !!
