Shadow in the Dark

Im a shadow in the dark
The quintessential sound of death
Im a shadow in the dark
Like the reapers icy breath

Im a statue set in stone
In apathetic sleep
Let the world just pass me by
And I will never weep

Im a shadow in the dark
The quintessential sound of death
Im a shadow in the dark
Like the reapers icy breath

You dont have to set me free
You dont have to light my night
You dont have to feel my breath
Or step into my line of sight
For Im a shadow in the dark
You know Im there but you cant see
Im a shadow in the dark
You pass me by, and leave me be.
