[bodytext] => I never thought I’d ever know, A girl who sets my heart aglow, With sentiments so warm and true, But all that changed when I met you. On an autumn day long, long ago I fell in love and I'll never know Just what it was that made me feel So drawn to her, what was the appeal It always starts my pulse to race, Whenever I gazed upon that face Of one who was scarce but a child, Yet even then could drive me wild I'll never know the how's and why's I lost my heart to her bright blue eyes My perfect girl from down the lane And I'll never let her go again. I love you intensely, I love you so much, I love the echo of your voice, And the way that we touch. I love your welcoming smile, And your kind, gracious way, The joy that you bring to my life every day. I love you today, As I have from the start, And I'll love you forever, With all of my heart.
