[hometext] => A random visit from me for the first time in over a year. thought the place I started online would like to hear from me again
[bodytext] => I tenderly buried all of your secrets within the catacombs of my heart So you could proclaim your innocence, and I could die with the burden of the sins Consumed by the anger inside my soul that can't be dismissed or forgave Leaving behind an empty vessel that waits praying to be filled full of rain Knowing that this is the existence I'm keeping as long as I'm inside this mental cage I ask only that you continue running as far away as the path your on can lead you away For there's no more neatly penned passageways, the whole world just scribbled lines upon a page As I sit with my head entombed into my palms till twilight's awakening , to camouflage the rage My smile had already vanished like the green leaves of spring into winter's embrace To become just as cryptic as the images within the letters we used to exchange But eventually the ecstasy of our fantasies faded away like dreams to do You disappeared again and again into the coldest of all possible shadows Leaving me to face it all without the even the dim rays of light you provided to my life So now I ponder one last question, do angels lie so they can keep control Of the poor hearted bastards who take the time to listen to their shame So when the moment is right they can rip away just a little bit more of their souls Leaving only there over confident egos so they'll just be taken for a sucker again and again Now instead of nurturing your impenetrable walls with the warmness of before I'll leave them to their lifeless composure as I construct my own structures As I've watched even those I thought would never turn me away turn tail and flee Like scolded animals once they caught even a brief glimpse of the darker side of me. Which is why I never go around professing to be some kind of ***** saint No matter how beautiful the soul without the proper care it'll shed layers of flesh Until nothing is left but a burned out core surrounded by the smoldering of ashes And wallowing in the memories of things that used to be, wounds that can never heal In the end I ask you to refrain from wasting your breath on words I'll never hear To keep your distance from the memory, and never take the time to drop a dime If you love me as much as you've always claimed, you'll do the right thing And make sure that after today, that you'll die before you ever let me know.
