you're the only one,
who's hurt?
can i call bull*****?
you're too full of pride
too selfish
worked up and overreacting
to see what's really
hurting

when i had confidence
i built it myself
stronger
only because you made me
seem weak
proved you wrong
not that you'd say so
i can do this on my own

don't you see
how this is going to be
maybe i don't want to try
fixing what we can't restore
you don't want to fix it
either
we'll both give up
regretting how hurt steered us wrong
