I like you just the way you are,
A vision of distant rainbow
So physically close but not so
To be loved by one so young
To have a feeling so strong.
A glance across a crowded room
But so distant like the moon.
A conquest if time were made
But what if desire should fade
Like clouds drifting apart
By circumstance without no start.
Perhaps time will tell us if we wait
If the feeling we can relate
On that many thoughts depends
Or will we be just GOOD FRIENDS
Please time come soon
Let man kiss the moon
Happy forever with no pretends
And we'll be so much more than just GOOD FRIENDS [comments] => 5 [counter] => 277 [topic] => 2 [informant] => Lilymaemax [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

A very touching write...firstly, i love it! you could not have expressed the emotions better...secondly, i know it is a really tough position you are in here...
on one hand, you have this awesome friendship, if you tell this person you love them for more than that, do you risk that friendship or will they reciprocate? if you hold your tongue is it a chance lost forever??
best of wishes to you...
thank you for this wonderful write...
kara

Very good write!
I have found that I would rather keep a friend than to possibly lose a lover....
Just works out better if you really like the person.
Losing your lover, there is pain that no pen can truly describe......
Keep up the good work!
Steve
