Why you?
Is it because niggaz hate?
Today, that's all they really do
But why?
You're really gone, Leo!
Why, of all people, you had to be the one to die?
You're too young!
Already everybody's missing you
Mike was bugging out
And so was Mitch
Hak looked like he wanted to fight
Leo listen, everybody was *****
I know you seen it
Just from you seeing that, you know how much you're missed
In school Friday, ain't nobody want to do nothing
Everywhere I turned, I saw somebody crying
I wanted to leave so bad, but I know you saw how Mike wouldn't let me
As I cried, Shavon was right there
Jamal was too
Do you see how much we all really miss you?
For comfort, I ran to Chris
He was real hurt
Man Leo, you're really gone, I can't take this
People, who knew you, that didn't cry
Really didn't have to
The pain was able to be seen right in their eyes
You didn't need to go
Everybody loves you
I don't see why they wouldn't have, you're Leo!
All of this is hard...
I don't see why anyone would want to hurt you
For life, our hearts are scarred
When I started writing, I didn't know where to start
Leo notice, in the 40 lines you've heard, not once did I refer to you using past tense
Why would I if the person Im talking to is right here with me?
You'll always be in my heart

Oh so sad. I'm sorry for your loss. Its hard to lose someone close to you. Keep him alive in your heart. Know you will see him again someday!!

Nay, ya know it's vonnie here. i knew who leo was even though i was neva so close to him as you were, but i still feel hurt and i was crying too. this poem made me cry nay and we will always miss leo
