[hometext] => Two poems merged...I hope it makes sense.
[bodytext] => Anger and animosity prevail. Hear there is no court of appeals. In spite of our longevity together, there is no peace that will last forever. Near by I hear the wail of a baby cry. No food or warmth available, the baby dies. A dirve by shooter takes aim and another innocent victim is slain. All in the name of a worthy endeaver, suicide bombers kill thousands of innocent victims, gone forever. During a robbery lawbreakers shoot to kill. Conscience is no deterrent to their act of will. An angry driver becomes enraged on the road; all of his anger there to unload. A terrorist attack captures hostages and innocent victims to kill: all for the sake of imposing their will. Two hijacked jets crashed into the Towers, causing hundreds of deaths by foreign powers. An angry student or disgruntled employee goes on a killing rampage. Life's frustrations set the stage. Indiscriminate killing of others, no love abides, rather hatred and fear preside. When will all the carnage end? Will there be a time when we can become friends? How sad it is that greed takes hold. Love is replaced with competition for power and control. Cannot people stand aside and observe the Almighty's plan materialize? Is there no one capable of fighting the fight, or stemming the tide of our human plight? Are we just doomed to further agony and strife, killing each other over ideas about life?
