All the anger trapped inside of me
My mothers voice is strange
So many night I fell asleep with out it
Her passion out weighed her children
Drugs her great reprieve
Alone in house that never felt like home
Tell me where has this life gone
I need a friend now more then ever
As I come to terms with the answers
Everyone I trust abandons me
So hears my heart on paper
Drawn out as words, Can you imagine a life
Where every half hearted I love you hurts
So many broken promises
And you scream at the top of your longs
“some one save me”
Just so they can call you liar
Bruises of my child hood stained into sheets
So many memories that will never come clean
A father faith in his son lost to lies
His wife claims to be my mother
But her palms leave dark circle under my eyes
Blood running from my nose
A dark room my only comfort
But ill still find my reasons to smile
And walk on that extra mile
Because one day ill find myself a new home
To build a life I can call my own [comments] => 2 [counter] => 328 [topic] => 21 [informant] => carpediem [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

Wow! This one hurt. I'm sorry for your struggles and tribulations, and that doesn't make it better but stay strong if you are still in the midst of this! This was powerfully written and I couldn't stop reading - like a book you can't put down. And I mean this completely that if you ever need someone to vent to or anything my e-mail address is sugar_plum0990@hotmail.com. Good luck with everything!
