The silent warriors stand
So strong, so tall
Try to knock them down and
You will surely fall
They've lived a hundred lives
Feet dug deep in the earth
You were defeated before you arrived
You were defeated before your birth
Don't start this war
Don't start this war
You will lose
You strike, you choke
They strike, you fall
Strike three
You lose, lose, lose
Don't start this war
Don't start this war
You will lose
The victory dance:
They raise their arms, shimmer, sway, and bend
You never stood a chance
The silent warriors have won again

| Even if you hadn't said it was about trees, I would have enjoyed this immensely. I may have missed the point lol, but it stands beautiful in its own words without a known meaning. Wonderful piece with many possible depths. |
