My Special Girl
Thoughts of you arise with each waking morning
They continue throughout the day from start till finish
Even though theres 2400 kilometers that separates us,
My love for you fills the void, the empty space, and brings us closer together
The thoughts come and go and I begin aching;
aching for your beautiful face and your stunning smile,
aching to hold you and feel the warmth of your skin,
aching to hear the soft serenity of your sweet voice
and aching to be with you and keep living in this dream
I am not sure how I am so fortunate;
So fortunate to be with this girl, this princess I so desire
This girl whom I share my thoughts and passions
This girl whom I share my soul and my heart
I am truly grateful to share in a part of this wonderful girls life
You truly are unique and very special; youre one of a kind
All kinds of different qualities can make a person special,
and your special quality is that you posses them all
From your beauty and brains to your kindness and compassion
I love every inch of you, every part of you, and every thought of you
Its these thoughts that made me begin to think
What to give such an incredible girl on her 18th birthday?
A person can give cloths, jewelry, or maybe perfume
But none of these material possessions would really let her know;
how much she means to me and how magnificent she is
Youre my number one girl, my dream girl, my only girl
These words express and let you know how much I care,
and still no paper or ink can really show how much you mean to me
Youre in my thoughts, my dreams, my soul, but most of all my heart!
