and you’ll drown in yesterday’s sorrow.
Break those chains,
rapped around your heart...

When all fades but your loneliness,
faces on your bedroom wall,
you’ll only have silence…
silence, to call your own.

Shadows…
they're dark empty spaces,
like monsters in the night,
watching over you whilst you sleep.
Shadows can’t keep you warm...
wipe your tears when you weep.
You'll be left to drown in your ocean of sadness...

The thin line between fear and fate …
when love and hate collide.
Between sanity and madness,
your fight to survive...
There isn't much letf but,
fading memories of floating images,
wrapped up in your twisted mind...

No one said it would be easy…
You can not rap arms around
the stillness of the night.
Moments take forever,
and dreams of someday;
light-years apart…
In an empty moment;
love lost its place...

Within your disposable fears,
the answers you seek,
a beautiful soul the truths you speak...
When the walls come tumbling down,
and your dreams turn to dust…
who will mend that broken heart?

You can not rap arms around
the stillness of the night.
When you close your eyes,
what do you see?
Is there anything …
anything at all?

In an empty moment,
love lost its place.
A heart ones whole,
bends then it breaks.
A wounded soul;
shifts then it shakes …

The thin line between fear and fate …
when love and hate collide.
Between sanity and madness,
your fight to survive...
There isn't much left but,
fading memories of floating images,
wrapped up in your twisted mind...

I very much enjoyed this. It was very emotive, persuasive in the sense that it kept me hooked right to the end, and it employed a lot of poetic devices (i particularly enjoyed the repeated lines throughout) which made for an excellent write. Well done.
