Deep down in my heart,
I felt all the pieces fall apart.
I couldnt stand it any longer,
people said I could be stronger.
I dont know, all I said I will try, try, try
Mom always said whats that one good thing you can do?
I said I can talk
I got a job that paid me to talk,
now I have become the talk,
All I can say I will try, try, try
I got no job today,
There is nothing more to say.
My friends are there,
but only a few are here to stay,
Cant I find a job?

Its been 28 years,
I still havent found the ground I can stand on.
Its time to get married,
I dont have a penny in my pocket.
My hairs going gray,
Is a girl ever going to walk my way?
I dont know, all that I can say I will try, try, try
Someday this world will say,
there is a lot of sense in my way.
Till that day arrives,
I need to hold on tight and keep saying this to myself I am going to try, try, try
