the timeless
in mysterious balance.
the harmony.
the coalition
of every manner, every turn,
each moment.
come, again to me
oh fading, iridescent glimpse.
translucent notion of existence,
release me.
afterwards. . . no thing
save a tiny residual idea
all shining but faint,
receding in the distance.
like a wee whisper
for the eye.
a keepsake. . .
weave it. wrap it.
keep it safe.
I want the timeless.
I do not want the manic,
the unspeakable syllable.
how is it that I am here?
have I not reached the horizon
of the new thought?
the idea that quenches
but that in & of itself
is insatiable?
how many disfigured stones
shall I pass?
the crumbling coming shortly
after the cast. . .
how is it that I stumble?
& over the old stones. . .
& on the old path, as well. . .?
how many twists & turns
will I encounter?
must I be surrounded
always, by beauty
so that I do not feel
the pain. . .
so that I don't remember
or forget?
the duality
is wasting me.
I must blink away
small tears & now
I can not even think of you.
what comes & goes?
what passes away?
tell me, my brother
what abides?

Such depth, such artistry of word!
I feel like I have grasped only a portion of you are trying to say and that is a good thing. I enjoy the many roads.
