Array ( [sid] => 14342 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => IF I WERE [time] => 2003-03-15 12:30:00 [hometext] => This poem was written for a very special lady that lives in Australia. She has helped me so much so I wrote this poem for her. [bodytext] => If I were a moonbeam
I would catch a falling star
Place it in your window
Because of who you are.

If I were the sun
Throught the clouds I'd shine
Leave enough raindrops
For you to walk anytime.

If I were a rose so red
That in spring time blooms
I would take all my petals
Toss them around your room.

If I were a great poet
Make all words rhyme
A poem I would write
To share with you all the time.

If I were an Angel
I would fly across the sea
Set on your verandah
And have a cup of tea.

If I could, Loving Whispers
I would be there today
Hold your hand and listen
To all you have to say.

This was written for you
Dances in Storm
Because I love you
I wrote you this little poem.
