So long that I am completely dry.
I want to let loose those tears,
Erasing every one of those years.
I want to feel again,
Like how I could then.
I’m so sick of thinking about you.
Look at what you’ve turned me into!
A cold, heartless shell that is numb.
It hurts, and it’s gruesome.
I think about you all the time,
Writing down all these stupid rhymes.
When I know you’re with someone else, thinking about her.
Sometimes I wonder why I even bother.
Why did I fall for you so damn hard?
Now I’m left so scarred.
Why can’t I get over you,
Even knowing what you’ve turned me into?
What is wrong with me?
Why can’t I just admit to myself and see,
That you’re not the one for me?

Raw, emotional and deep. I can relate to you are feeling in this poem and in life. I was in the same spot as you three years ago. It is hard, it really is, but writing it out and talking it out are some ways to gain access onto the road to recovery from this heartache you are dealing with. In time you will find someone much better and you will see that you are better of without this person or maybe the other person will realize that the were in the wrong. For me I realized that I was better than him and I needed to break out of the denial he placed me thinking it was me and not him. But in truth it really was him, it took me a good long couple of months to get out of the denial stage. I would cry, I would ask myself what did I do or why... I would cut (not a good thing) and I was just so emotional and I couldn't let him go but I did and I am now with someone who is 100 times better than how he was. It is hard. Keep your chin up and keep writing....

Well done
Take care
Christina

I'm pretty sure any girl has been through this feeling before, the emotion in this was good. the fact you got your point across in such a small piece of writing is great.
It's the worst feeling knowing the boy/ girl your in love with is with another person.
