Array ( [sid] => 14319 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Birthed From Divinity [time] => 2003-03-14 23:40:00 [hometext] => The story of how I came to find my angel. Just an idea. :) [bodytext] => The Goddess birthed an angel
Whose wings were made of pure divinity
Lounging around on his cloud
He loved to make the other angels laugh
But at night when all was quiet
He just stared up at the stars above him
He thought they were beautiful
He knew that with them was where he belonged

The Goddess made all the stars
But some of them, they dreamed a little more
They loved to dance, twinkling bright
They were the most carefree souls in the sky
But at night when all was still
They gazed down at this one certain angel
Because they knew he loved them
They wished for a way to belong with him

The Goddess saw this and knew
She had to let these souls be together
She knew they'd find each other
Because She wrote it in their destiny
So She gave the angel back
To live again and find his love someday
And She sent those stars to Earth
And everybody saw them falling down

Now eighteen-plus years later
A boy found a girl and then they found love
And he saw stars in her eyes
And then she saw his invisible wings
They knew that they belonged
They knew they'd be together forever
He could always make her laugh
And she knew he'd loved her from a distance

That's why I'm with my angel
Because it was always meant to be
Just a boy and just a girl
But birthed from divinity, the gods' will
We'll always be together
And the heavens will smile down on us
There's nothing more beautiful
Than two blessed souls finding their destiny [comments] => 7 [counter] => 151 [topic] => 49 [informant] => MoonlitAngel [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => mystical )
