Our nights we burn up the pavement, heavy and shiny semi’s and chicken lights.
New Mexico desert I-40 the moon our guide all night.
No given away no laying down, roll on little lady roll.

There is no stormy weather
There is no hurt or pain
There is only going
There is hearts sustained.

Nights are only lonely
when one forgets just who they are.
Low purr of the big motor
wishing on the brightest star.

The black ribbon she is always callin.
You understand why it is I always go.
For you little gypsy rose, was once the queen of that road.
A concrete cowgirl riding high, undaunted no matter the moment.

Days are never lonely,
when you know just who you are.
Nights are the comfort,
when you are out driving beneath the stars.

When you think of sunsets.
Westward bound is where I’ll be.
When you think of roses,
That small flower forever blooms in me.

Be safe my friend I love ya!
