With air and blood to fuel conscious thoughts
From grave to cobblestone rising to walk again
Praise to the dead to grace the living
For it is by the blood of the dead that the living survive.

Upon the wings of the dead the living soul takes flight
Which while its short stay upon the winds of Purgatory
The breeze makes up the thread of this web of lies by which it is bound
But what once was praise has turned into a prayer for escape
As Heaven and Hell collide

The dead shall remain among the dead
Which in due time the living shall soon enough join them
The battle for the unsaved soul shall be extinguished
And a great void shall once again separate the two great eternities
The nightmare of life is now over

I enjoyed reading this. Some of it reminded me of a few pieces of my old work. Good job.

heheh I told you it all went together well and look you have a master piece. This poem was brilliant and vivid and filled with the promise of life after death. I sometimes think the world will be better in death. Wonderfully done..

Take care
Christina
