Me, a rusty ol’ man, dangling between
the rising era, walkin’ the lone path, with wishes
bubbling within, wanna yell it to the person
walkin’ next, tell ’er my desire within.

Wanna open wide my window
at middle of the night ‘look up the sky
and scream at each shining star, ‘nd say,
how beautiful are they seem to me.

Ho, how I wanna cry out from my rooftop
with joy, to the far blue mountains, ‘nd reveal, how regal
they rise up to be; to kiss each grains of sand at Sahara
‘nd whoop, how precious are they to me.

Me, a rusty ol’ man, walkin’ the lone path, wishes buried within,
hesitant to whisper in her ears, my long buried love for her.

Wow, Franco...There's so much inner conflict in this... It is so true...it's never good to keep your desires hidden.... Great write..
I have missed your work, my friend...
Hope all is well with you and Mario..

Franco,
just as this poems sings you also should go right ahead and shout it to the roof tops my friend.

I find we often do not say what we really feel then later wish we had....... Or do not say as much as we would like for fear of how others would react? I say to heck with it! DO it my man do it!

Huggers

Michelle

Franco, you really are a romantic soul and this lovely piece
is a tribute to all that beauty that harbours deep within you.
Never stop writing. Never stop sharing it. It is such a pleasure
to read you and feel your heart through every word.

Gentle, loving and absolutely beautiful, Franco.

Hope all is well. :)

*hugs*
