[time] => 2003-03-14 07:00:00 [hometext] => Here it’s easier to be a better person without shyness or looks or insecuriy holding us back? But is this truly who we are and what’s so bad about the crappy bits we hide away? [bodytext] => You write so well without your shell
It makes you seem so soft
What about the hyde in which you bide
That cast that casts others off?
In this virtual land in which we stand
Virtue is easy to do
Leave perspective behind, show just part of your mind
Submit the better you.
Take your chance make a Godlike stance
Create a celestial storm
From your pillar tall look down on the small
Berate those in human form
Minus our flaws it’s easy to pause
And show ourselves anew
But without the whole, it’s just part of a soul
Not a person that’s true

Are we just our core
Or something more
The whole that makes us less yet makes us more

i'm not sure about others, but i don't like to tell just anything until i know who i am talking to. i'm not rying to hide my true self, and i wish no one else would. good write by the way.

yes this is true! but mabey most people never get to express there soft side as much as they would like. So they do it through their writting. Great poem!

i found this poem to be challenging on a personal level and i imagine everyone here who reads it will find it likewise and no harm there is in that, i totally admire the cocept and imagery but more than anything the use of the language in it, would love to see more when you have the time and the inclination

Great write...I believe a true writer is not afraid to write his/her deepest thoughts for the world to see. He/she is not ashamed of his/her emotions....
