World closing in Claustrophobic by nature You accuse me of sin As I trade everything To make you happy But even in the end It comes down to me Feelings are stolen And I can finally say the truth
Even as you look up to me I look down on you Tired of having to be Everything to you Let me live my life Striving to be me Put an end to the strife And let me live miserably You do what you must But I want to be on my own Aspirations turned to dust Long ago
Desert heat burns away Every single one of your chains And finally I feel free And feeling new pain Blood returning to limbs unused. Freedom returning to soul anew Spreading my wings Inside my new cage This life is fleeting As my rage is seething That you actually scorn The fact that I Am now reborn.
