especially when she is like she is today
wild and uncontrollable
independent and strong
mind of her own

My eyes flow over her in admiration
I stand in awe as she approach me
feeling her swell growing uncontrollably,
hearing her sigh as she comes down again

In that moment
I see a glimpse of her vulnerability
that she always tries to hide

As I approach once again
she pulls back into herself
fearing what I might have seen
then she gently reach out
touches at my hand
reminds me of where we have been

As the sun fades away
beautiful shadows on her face
my heart will stay with her here
I leave my footprint in her heart
until I meet her again

Bravo! I fell in love with the first verse and kept right on going. Your vivid descriptions made me take a walk right there. I am awaiting my moments spending times with the ocean soon. It lulls me into its depths.

Lovely work

What I find amazing in this piece is the feeling of the waves, the moving forward, drawing back and again.
Very well done. I can honestly say no other poem has given me that sense of movement.
