[bodytext] => Inch by inch I begin, to peel back the layers. Layers embedded so deeply they wear me down covering me in a blanket of blue. Somewhere beneath those layers, is a dormant fire which once was me. Light, full, untouched, full of raw energy spring blossoms, summers replenishing rains falls beautiful gown, winters feather snow flakes. Like a mason with his bricks carefully filling each space. Building something beautiful brick by brick until…… a mansion is vast standing tall. In reverse, I peel off the pain. Peel off the blue, Peel off the confusion Peel off the mess that divides true self from the outside world. Beneath the surfaces of time and a million thin layers that now feel so heavy I can hardly stand upright to carry them…….. There is that lost someone the truth without the layers the inner shell that wasn’t empty the spark that shined brighter than the heavens. I shall peel reaping a reward of someday soon finding that fire that is me. ~Michelle~ [comments] => 2 [counter] => 206 [topic] => 48 [informant] => shelby [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )
