The Wave

You could ride it to a smooth ending
Then again, perhaps you won’t
You may possess enough intellect to jump
Thereby opting to try the next
But most likely you will fall
For most of us do
Yet here…it, has given you another chance
Much will depend upon your skill
Or the lack thereof

High on the crest is exhilarating
And maybe even more so, in the throng of the tunnel
But the chance of being taken down
Lurks nearly, at every moment
For whether you’ve chosen a tumultuous one
Or one less subtle
Each holds its own degree of excitements and perils
The larger is not always what you think
It is what you, or I, make of it

And when that wave has ended
Be it smoothly, or jumping or falling from
It is not the end, just look; another wave is coming
That’s just the way it is
Pick one, for you will have a chance to try many
How skilled are you at this?
Where is your passion?
Do not be afraid…grab onto a wave
…and live your life.

this is a fantastic write. pick your waves wisely and don't feel helpless if you pick the wrong direction..there's always a new wave coming...awsome analogy...

Wise words spoken eloquently. More people should give their lives meaning, and grab that wave and live their lives. Nice post.
