Sunrise & Sunset

Sailing upon passionate currents
Of her inspirational deep blue sea
Across uncharted depths of desire
Where her wonderful heart ushers me

Onward in my quest to explore
This journey into love divine
Eschewing bounds of reality
To think of her as mine

There, just beyond the horizon
Where sea and sky long to meet
Where sunrise pursues sunset forever
To know but an instant of love sweet

I too pursue my love
My poetic destiny
Too perfect for words
Forever ahead of me

Always hoping for a miracle
Always believing still
Love finds a way
And one day it will

Let me know the touch
Of she for whom my heart sighs
As sunrise touches sunset
Amid the sparkle of her eyes

And so I sail ever onward
Faithful, waiting the day
The desire of my heart
Isn’t forever away

Sunrise & Sunset

Sailing upon passionate currents
Of her inspirational deep blue sea
