Forgive me my love I lied to you
I don’t deserve your heart oh so true
When you were gone my days were gray
I needed you here forever to stay.

What have I done to you my dearest friend?
I took what you would die for.
You weren’t there to save her
So I tried to revive her.

Forgive me my love I lied to you.
Forget me my sorrow I tried to be true.
You don’t deserve what im about to say.

I like it just the way it is.

I sense a lot of soul searching and high emotion in these lines.
