With howling winds and roars and lights,
This natural splendor took my breath away,
Guess someone was grieving for me from the heights.

I saw trees bend to touch the ground,
Whispering softly, comforting words of concern.
With raindrops falling all around,
The rhythms displaying an act of discern.

I was thrilled to witness this act of love,
Overwhelmed with joy, I was sad.
Even the consoling showers from heaven above,
Fail to get my love to make me glad.

Where are you my love, where are you now?
My heart longs for you in this time of despair.
Guess I will live with ole memories somehow,
One day you’ll have tears but I won’t be there.

Vic my man, who is this woman who hurt you so? When we lose the one thing that gives meaning to our lives it is hard to find joy or comfort in anything. Thank goodness for us we can release some of these emotions when we join nib and sheet. Very nice write!
